In this post we give you a tour of Elvis Presley’s home in Graceland.
He was born Elvis Aaron Presley on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Elvis was known as The King Of Rock- n- Roll.
I had always wanted to visit Graceland ever since I was a little girl. One day we decided to take a road trip.
We found ourself’s at the Tennesse exit and decided to turn off! Whoop yee! Finally, I was going to see Elvis’s home
What an awesome trip! If you are an Elvis fan (who isn’t) I highly recommend stopping in Memphis Tennessee, home of Elvis Presley.
There are several different tours throughout Graceland. Giving you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself into the life and legacy of the King of Rock-n-Roll.

We chose to take the Graceland Mansion and Elvis’ airplanes tour. We received this beautiful ticket as a memento.
The tour of Elvis’s Mansion is self-guided. They do give you an Ipad for the audio portions.
When you first arrive they take a picture of your group for a memento.
If you choose to take the tour of Elvis’s home you board a bus and head to the tour of “The Mansion” as they refer to it.
What a mansion it is, fit for a king!

It was an amazing house, complete with a “Jungle Room” and a private “Studio” and Stables.
Elvis also enjoyed riding horses.

Elvis adored his daughter Lisa Marie so much that he named his air plane after her.
August 18, 1977 Elvis Presley was buried at his Graceland Mansion
According to an ABC News report, Elvis’s funeral lasted over an hour and most of the crowd were young women.
Elvis arrived in a white hurst followed by ten white Cadillacs. Elvis loved Cadillacs.

Elvis’s Father “Vernon” and Mother “Gladys” are also buried here alongside of Elvis’s twin brother Jesse that died at birth.
This is a beautiful memorial garden for the Presley family.
